Tap 42 - Brunch!

I enjoyed a very boozy brunch with some of my favorite mom friends one recent Saturday - the unlimited mimosas sat right on the table (versus the server bringing you an individual glass every time you ask) which I really liked!

Delray Farmer's Market!

The Delray Farmer's Market is a colorful, fun place to spend a sunny Saturday morning. Fresh produce, cheeses, flowers and baked goods are definitely inexpensive and yummy!

Avant Delray!

My girlfriends and I went out for Cinco de Mayo and had dinner at Avant, a relatively new restaurant in Delray. The food was delicious and we enjoyed plenty of margaritas!

Administrative Professional's Day!

My bosses are the best!

Annual Meeting!

My company held our annual investor meeting at the Boca Resort for the first time this year and it was such an incredible experience! We were there for two days and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!

St. Patrick's Day!

Thanks to Pinterest, I found some cute craft ideas for Giuliana's class in school. I used a gold food coloring spray to spray Oreos to look like gold coins, and then printed out a trinity coloring page, poem and big green crayon to add to the goody bags for the kids.

G's teachers are so innovative! They prepared a bunch of different green foods and drinks and had the kids try it! They kept a sheet and wrote down what each kid liked and didn't like!

Salmon, salmon, everywhere!

Salmon is my favorite kind of seafood to cook. I buy fillets and bake them up with a quick Asian marinade of rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, garlic powder and black pepper (no salt - the soy sauce takes care of that!). My daughter and husband love them, and then if there is any baked salmon left over, I flake it up in a bowl and add breadcrumbs, egg, greek yogurt, and a bit more seasoning, and fry them up as salmon cakes! I usually sautee some spinach or other green to serve alongside, so as to not be such a heavy meal.

I used my spiralizer to make zucchini noodles!
