Homemade Donuts!

Two months ago, it was National Donut Day! Since we celebrated my daughter's 3rd birthday a month ago with a spectacular donut theme, I thought it would be fun for G and I to bake up some homemade donuts using my brand new donut pan (Wilton brand, from Michael's).

I unintentionally used a vegan recipe (we are NOT vegan) since I wanted them to be not jam packed with butter and sugar (knowing a three year old was going to consume them!) and they were tasty! Definitely not as delicious as the truly fried donuts, but they suited our purposes that day.
